ACTRESS SWAIN UNVEILS NEW PETA ANTI-FUR AD
By Adnews Staff
Actress Dominique Swain unveiled the latest ad in People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal's anti-fur advertising campaign in downtown Toronto last week. Actresses Pamela Anderson and Kim Basinger and model Christy Turlington have also appeared in the campaign in which they state they would "rather go naked than wear fur." In the new ad, Swain appears naked in a classroom writing the statement "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" on a chalkboard. The ad was shot by photograher Robert Sebree who has done work for PETA on other ads in the campaign. Swain's ad will appear in the January/February issue of Gear magazine. Space for the full-page, four-colour ad was donated to the organization by the magazine. PETA, based in Norfolk, VA, has been running anti-fur campaigns for about ten years.
