OLYMPIC AID DEBUTS WEB SITE FOR UPCOMING WINTER GAMES

Olympic Aid of Aurora, ON has unveiled a re-designed Web site at <http://www.olympicaid.org>. The organization raises funds to deliver programs to disadvantaged children. It was founded in 1994 as an initiative of the Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee. The site re-design was done by Wunderman. Its function is to connect athletes, coaches, volunteers, government agencies, corporations and the people in need of the organization's programs. The site includes images of children involved in Olympic Aid programs and sections which provide information about the organization and its programs, news and donation and pledge information. The site also contains a link to eBay.com where an online auction of athletic memorabila is hosted. Wunderman president Trish Wheaton said the site was re-designed to encourage visitors to get involved as donors, volunteers or corporate partners. It will be the focal point of Olympic Aid's activities at the upcoming Winter Games in Salt Lake City this February.
