GROCERY GATEWAY BEGINS NEW DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGN

Grocery Gateway of Mississauga has started a new direct mail campaign that targets potential and past customers of the online grocery service, according to a report in The Globe and Mail. Promotional flyers and email went out last week offering $25 discounts on orders of $60 or more. Grocery Gateway president and CEO Al Sellery said in the report that a major aim of the campaign is to convince 56,000 Grocery Gateway customers who are no longer buyers to place new orders. According to the report, the company has 14,000 "loyal" customers who have placed more than four orders or who have bought groceries in the last 60 days.
