PUBLICIS MONTREAL WINS MUSEUM ACCOUNT, CREATES NEW UNIT

Publicis Montréal has been named the communications agency of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Publicis won the account over BBDO, incumbent Graphème/Cossette, Groupe Everest, Publicité Martin and Communications Lili Côté. The agency will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all advertising and promotional campaigns for the museum's permanent collection and its temporary exhibits. Publicis subsidiary Goodhue Design will handle the design of all printed communications for the Museum.
In related news, Publicis Montréal has opened a new event marketing and public relations unit. Nathalie Courville will head the unit as director of event marketing and public relations. She will be responsible for the event components of campaigns for the agency's clients. She will also be brand director for the new Montreal Museum of Fine Arts account. For the past two years she has been director of communications and advertising at l' Équipe.
