DIABETES FOUNDATION AND BMO CHARGE IT

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has teamed up with Bank of Montreal to introduce an affinity MasterCard to support research into the disease. The card will display the foundation's logo: an image of a young child, a researcher and a globe above the words "dedicated to finding a cure." Last week the foundation began a new awareness and fundraising advertising and public relations campaign. This involves national television and radio PSAs during November, which is diabetes month, and December. The advertising was created by Young & Rubicam on a pro bono basis. It is being supported with a letter writing contest, media relations and a video news release from Cohn & Wolfe, which is also working pro bono.
