AIR CANADA CHAMPIONSHIP GETS SPONSORSHIP EXTENSION

The PGA Tour has granted the organizing committee of the Air Canada Championship golf tournament extra time to find a title sponsor for the 2003 to 2006 period. Air Canada's title sponsorship of the tournament ends after 2002. The extension runs to the first week of December. According to tournament chairman Michael Carroll, discussions are still underway with potential sponsors.
