WATT AND DAIRY FARMERS OF ONTARIO PART WAYS

Graham Watt and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario have ended their 23-year relationship. Watt and partner Jim Burt have been creating strategies and advertising for the organization since 1978 when the pair pitched for and won the account while at McKim Advertising. The two continued to work on the account in partnership with McKim after opening their own agency, Watt-Burt Inc. McKim has since been acquired by BBDO Canada. Last year Watt-Burt Inc. was dissolved and Watt joined SGCI Communications in Sackville, NB as creative counsel and mentor, where he continued to work on milk creative and strategic development. The Dairy Farmers of Ontario account has now been moved to BBDO, where Burt will continue to work on the business with Jack Neary, chief creative officer of that agency. Campaigns developed by Watt-Burt for the organization over the years include "Thank You Very Much Milk," "The Faster Life Gets The More Sense Milk Makes" and the current "Milk Gives" theme.
