RANSCOMBE & CO. BECOMES ONE COMPANY
By Adnews Staff
Ranscombe & Co. has changed its name to one company. The Toronto-based advertising agency was founded in 1992 by president Jim Ranscombe. "The name one encapsulates our beliefs on how best to work together and with our clients," said Ranscombe. "Formalizing these beliefs in a new brand name will give us focus and help guide everything we do." According to the agency, the name change part reflects the addition of three new partners: Liz MacDonald, Neil MacLellan and Shannon Cullum. MacDonald joined the agency a year and a half ago from Sporting Life where she was marketing director. MacLellan, who has been with the agency for just under a year, was previously at Traffic Communication. MacDonald and MacLellan share client service director responsibilities. Cullum joined the agency just over a year ago as strategic planning director from Leo Burnett in Chicago. Cullum heads strategic planning. The company has also hired Lisa Wong as media director. She was previously an account director at Carat Canada.
