Toronto-based Scott Thornley + Company has been made creative agency of record for The Salk Institute of La Jolla, CA. The Salk Institute is an independent non-profit institution that conducts health-related science research. Scott Thornley was the only Canadian agency pitching for the business. It won the account over three California-based agencies. Scott Thornley will manage the institute's strategic branding program, which is intended to increase awareness of the Salk Institute in the U.S.
