RAMADA SENDS MORE WORK TO ADLIB

Toronto-based Ramada Franchise Canada Inc. is has named theadlibgroup its marketing agency of record. The firm has been the national hotel chain's creative agency for the past two years. According to Leslie Anne Palamar, vice-president of Ramada Canada, it was the agency's innovative strategies and creative design work over that time which convinced Ramada to increase theadlibgroup's input into its overall marketing efforts. The agency will now handle "a more all-inclusive strategy and creative assault," managing Ramada's marketing budget of $1,000,000 as well as a contra advertising budget of $500,000. A new national campaign will break in January consisting of targeted regional campaigns for eastern and western Canada.
