ONTARIO ACCOUNTANTS RUN NEW NAME BRAND ADS
By Adnews Staff
The Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario has released new ads in its six-year-old "name brand for business in Canada" advertising campaign. Created by Clique Communications of Toronto, the campaign continues to target business managers, owners, professionals and executives with the message that certified general accountants have the knowledge and skills that businesses need. Radio advertising will begin on October 15. In one spot, certified general accountants Yuk Ting Go, Maureen Miles, Bill Carr, Lynne Gasse, Glenda Furlonger and Tom Alley tell listeners that satisfying the needs of businesses has CGAs on the go. Another spot, which says that CGA's provide benefits which Ontario businesses flock to, makes use of general accountants Gerry Robin, Peter Cardinal, Wally Dove, Jeff Hawke and Earl Duckworth. Billboards began running earlier this month in various Ontario cities which also display the names of certified general accountants. The boards read "In the business landscape you can't miss us." Inserts containing information about certified general accountants and the services they offer will be distributed in The Globe and Mail on October 16 and in the National Post on October 23. The association will also begin a six-week sponsorship of closed captioning on CTV Ontario in January.
