LE DEVOIR CHOOSES MEDIA ALTERNATIVES

Montreal daily newspaper Le Devoir has hired Media Alternatives of Toronto to handle its national advertising sales excluding Quebec. The new representation agreement follows the expiration of a similar agreement between Le Devoir and Printcorp Advertising Inc. of Toronto, which had handled the publication's national ad sales for the past three years. Le Devoir is published Monday through Saturday. It has a circulation of 54,000. The newspaper hired Media Alternatives based on a referral. Advertising sales for the Quebec market are handled in-house.
