Vancouver-based Detroit Creative Group, the graphic design arm of Wasserman & Partners, has appointed Larry Donen president as part of a management restructuring within the agency. Donen was previously at DCI Strategies, a strategic consulting firm he founded. Also, Pat Busswood has been promoted to general operations manager. Busswood was previously account services manager.
Detroit Creative Group has recently picked up a number of projects including two agency of record assignments. Metropolis, a shopping centre located in Burnaby, BC, and Winchell's Doughnuts, a chain of doughnut stores in southern California, have both awarded the firm their AOR business. The agency has also received work from YVR, the Vancouver Airport, development company Bentall Corporation, infant footwear manufacturer Robeez Footwear and Tourism Vancouver.
