TD CANADA TRUST BEGINS BRANDING CAMPAIGN

TD Canada Trust has kicked-off a branding campaign with a new 30-second television spot called "Know Your Name". The ad shows people going through their daily routines. Captions float above their heads reading "some guy" and "some kid". A man walks into a TD Canada Trust branch, at which point his caption changes from "some guy" to "Mr. Martin". The spot ends with a shot of a chair and the new tagline "Business can be this comfortable." The ad is the first in a series of three new commercials which will make up the national campaign. Advertising for TD Canada Trust is done by Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto.
