DAYS INNS- CANADA BEGINS AFFAIR

Toronto-based hotel chain Days Inns - Canada will release a new 30-second brand awareness spot this month called "The Affair". The ad begins with surveillance footage of a man entering a Days Inn accompanied by a voice-over of his wife speaking to two private investigators. "I started getting suspicious about a month ago. Every Thursday night, he'd say he was working late," she says. As the spot continues, the two investigators burst into the hotel room. The husband is lying on the bed in his boxer shorts. "I just love the room," he says. The spot ends with various room shots and the tagline "If lovin' us is wrong, we don't want to be right." Created by Pirate Radio & Television and produced by Apple Box Productions, both of Toronto, the ad will run on TSN, the Discovery Channel, Prime, Space and the Rogers TV listings channel. The media buy was handled by The Media Company of Toronto.
