HARRIS HAS NEW SOFTWARE FOR RADIO

Harris Media Systems of Toronto introduced its Radio Synergy software last week. The Windows program uses summary and diary data from the BBM Bureau of Broadcast Measurement to perform radio scheduling. It can determine what reach an advertiser can get at a station or group of stations during different time frames. Harris vice-president Rick Sands says the program can also figure out the best way for advertisers to spend their radio budgets.
