SEGAL COMMUNICATIONS PLAYS CAMPAIGN ON DIGITAL ADVERTISING NETWORK

Toronto-based Segal Communications has signed a 32-week category exclusive deal with Montreal-based Digital Advertising Network. A campaign promoting Sony's Playstation products will run on DAN's national network of digital screens located in the food courts of Canadian shopping centres. Twenty-seven spots highlighting the latest Playstation products are scheduled to run. "We know exactly who we are reaching in this target rich environment where consumers are in 'purchase mode'", said Rob Segal, president of Segal Communications, the agency of record for the Sony Playstation. "The close proximity to retailers carrying Playstation products in the mall is an added benefit." DAN has agreements with mall owners Ivanhoe Cambridge, Cadillac Fairview 20-Vic and Oxford Properties to operate its network in their shopping centres.
