TELETOON RUNS SPRING PROMOTION

Toronto-based Teletoon has partnered with Christie Brown & Co. for its spring calendar promotion. Previously called "School's Out," the animation station has renamed the promotion the "Get Packin'" contest. This is the first time Teletoon has partnered with the cookie manufacturer. Prizes include a luxury cruise, a roller coaster adventure and a behind-the-scenes tour of an animation station. Contest details are available via an on-air spot, three on-air billboards and a micro Web site. To enter, viewers tune into Teletoon during the 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. after-school programming block to identify a password that corresponds to the trip they would like to win. Passwords are contained in the on-air billboards. Once they have the correct password, viewers visit <http://www.teletoon.com> to enter. In addition to the grand prize, 50 runner-up prize packs are also available. The contest runs until June 29.
