YTV AND SFX PRESENT PSYKOBLAST TOUR

YTV Canada and SFX Music Canada have teamed together to present PsykoBlast, a national concert tour. The seven-city tour will make stops in Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Mississauga between June 15 and June 25. Returning as primary and secondary sponsors of the PsykoBlast Tour are Kellogg Canada and Bell Mobility. Serving as an on-site sponsor this year is Canada's Youth Employment Strategy. The PsykoBlast lineup consists of pop acts soulDecision, b4-4, Snow and Wave. "PsykoBlast provides an ideal opportunity for YTV, SFX and our sponsors to interact with our target audience in a completely original environment," said YTV's vice-president of sales, Suzanne Carpenter. While at each venue, concert-goers can participate in contests from Kellogg and Bell Mobility. In Kellogg's "Gotta Have My Pops" contest, audience members have the chance to be moved to a special section at the front of the venue. Bell Mobility customers who bring their pagers to the concert can register their number for the chance to be paged to the front of the venue. A 30-second TV spot and a Web site at <http://www.psykoblast.com>, both created in-house by YTV, will support the tour. Local radio advertising, also done in-house, and print advertising from Toronto's Echo Advertising, will also be used.
