MOLSON SINGS NEW CANADIAN ANTHEM

"Anthem," the new 90-second television commercial for Molson Canadian's I Am Canadian advertising campaign, will debut nationally on June 17. The spot, which will also appear in Cineplex Odeon theatres from June 22 to July 5, is designed to takes viewers on a tour of Canadian history by showing moments of national pride including VE Day, the raising of the Maple Leaf and the Summit Series, as the titular anthem is sung. Joe Canadian from the "Rant" spot returns for a cameo appearance, joined by fellow Canuck William Shatner and over 250 actors wearing costumes from the 1800s, the 1940s and the 1970s. Viewers can also visit <http://www.iam.ca> to create their own version of the commercial using the Molson Canadian Movie Maker tool which combines music with stock visuals and images.
