SUBWAY CONTINUES DIET SUCCESS STORIES

Subway Restaurants of Milford, CT continues to focus on the diet success stories of its customers in a new television advertising campaign. Carrying on from its "Inspired by Jared" commercials, which first began running in January 2000, the new spots feature five individuals who lost weight by exercising and eating Subway sandwiches. Jared Fogle, who lost 245 pounds by eating Subway sandwiches for a year, was featured in previous advertising creative. Subway's new campaign will run during the summer season in Canada and the U.S. Television advertising is being supported with in-store materials and local advertising. Subway's original "Inspired by Jared" advertising was created by its former agency Publicis Hal Riney & Partners of Chicago. This campaign was created by its current agency of record Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/EURO RSCG of New York.
