WOLF GROUP WINS CADILLAC FAIRVIEW ACCOUNT

Toronto-based Cadillac Fairview has awarded the advertising account for its "family cluster" of shopping malls to Wolf Group of Toronto. This cluster is a group of eight shopping centres in Manitoba and Ontario which share certain characteristics with regards to the demographics of their consumers. The cluster consists of Polo Park Winnipeg, Markville Markham, Lime Ridge Hamilton, Masonville Place London, Woodbine Centre Toronto, The Promenade Thornhill, Hillcrest Richmond Hill and Erin Mills Mississauga. Previously advertising for each centre had been handled by a different agency. Wolf Group won the account over Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll and MacLaren McCann. The agency's first work will be for the 2001 back-to-school season. Cadillac Fairview's agency search was conducted by Montreal-based Kriterium.
