BIG ROCK BREAKS GEM CAMPAIGN

Calgary-based Big Rock Brewery is attempting to build brand awareness with a new campaign in bar washrooms. Eighteen executions will rotate through Toronto-based NewAd's Resto Bar network. The 18-week campaign targets males with miniboards in the washrooms of licensed establishments. The creative uses the "Every One a Gem" theme created by Thursby & Associates of Toronto. Thursby, working with Walker Media of Oakville, ON, won the marketing program for Big Rock beer in Ontario in March. Big Rock brands available in Ontario include Traditional Ale, Grasshopper Wheat Ale, Warthog Ale and Kold Lager.
