FIGHT AGAINST GINGIVITIS CAMPAIGN GOES ON

Warner-Lambert Consumer Healthcare has unveiled the latest execution in the "Action Hero for Your Gums" campaign for its Listerine mouthwash. The 30-second spot features actor Adam West, star of the original Batman television series. West, who appears as himself, is signing copies of his book "Back to the Batcave" in the spot. In line is a man dressed as a Cool Mint Listerine bottle. The "action hero" says he wants to team up with West as his Listerine sidekick to fight the evil gingivitis. West has his bodyguard escort the man in the costume out. The spot, which broke yesterday, is the third in the "Action Hero for Your Gums" campaign. Advertising for the Listerine brand is done by J. Walter Thompson of Toronto.
