HILL & KNOWLTON WINS TRADAQ ACCOUNT
By Adnews Staff
Hill & Knowlton Canada's Toronto office will be handling the Canadian strategic communications for Tradaq, formerly BarterTrust, a global trading network based in London, England. The account will be held jointly with the agency's Chicago office, which will be responsible for Tradaq's communication activities in the U.S. market. H&K won the account after contacting the network. Tradaq's member companies sell the goods and services they have to buy those they need using an electronic "currency" called the Tradaq dollar in the U.S., the Tradaq Canadian dollar in Canada, the Tradaq peso in Mexico and the Tradaq pound sterling in the United Kingdom. H&K will work with Tradaq's agency in the UK, Band and Brown, to deliver consistent messaging for the network.
