XEROX INTRODUCES DOCUMENT COST INDEX
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Xerox Canada president Cameron Hyde is not selling customers another copier but instead helping them cut costs in a new advertising campaign breaking across Canada this week. The marketing push is introducing Xerox's Document Cost Index initiative, a cost-saving solution that measures the cost of printing, copying, faxing and managing documents and then recommends solutions to reduce those costs and improve the efficiency of managing those documents. Print ads running nationally are being accompanied with radio advertising in select markets, in-flight television and a direct mail push. The campaign introduces customers to the Document Cost Index and invites them to call for a free consultation. Advertising for Xerox Canada is done by Sharpe Blackmore EURO RSCG. Public relations are handled by Environics Communications, both of Toronto.
