DEVARRIEUXVILLARET AND ZAQ CREATE INTERACTIVE MARKETING AGENCY

Montreal-based ZAQ Interactive Solutions and Paris-based devarrieuxvillaret have joined together to establish a new interactive marketing agency in Paris. ZAQ develops business-to-consumer interactive marketing programs for media including television, the Internet and wireless telephones. Devarrieuxvillaret is a French advertising agency and subsidiary of Havas Advertising. The newly-established agency, called devarrieuxvillaret//zaq, will provide consultancy services and technology. It will seek to combine devarrieuxvillaret's "me-marketing" approach and advertising expertise with ZAQ's experience in interactive marketing. Devarrieuxvillaret will hold a 51% stake in the agency, ZAQ 39%. The remaining 10% will be held by the firm's four managers.
