Leading Web Advertisers is changing its name to Evaliant Media Resources LLC. According to Evaliant, the name change is to reflect the company's plan to extend its ad tracking capabilities beyond the Web into other electronic advertising media such wireless. "To put its simply, LWA just outgrew its name," said Micheal Kubin, co-founder and co-CEO of Evaliant. "We want to be the authoritative source for ad-tracking data in all electronic media. Our new name says a lot about us. Our objective is to provide significant 'value' to our clients by providing the data they need to 'evaluate' their strategic marketing decisions. And we will be quite bold, 'valiant', in tracking e-media wherever the technology and industry may develop," Kubin said. Evaliant currently tracks online advertising on over 200 Canadian Web sites for more than 4,000 brands. Public relations for Evaliant are handled by McMahon Communications of Ottawa.
