COCA-COLA BREAKS WORLDWIDE CAMPAIGN

The Coca-Cola Company, based in Atlanta, GA, is breaking a new worldwide advertising campaign for its Coca-Cola Classic flagship brand this week. The global campaign was created by the McCann-Erickson unit of the Interpublic Group of Companies. Ads, produced around the world, debuted on the same day in their respective markets. Coca-Cola is running the campaign in 200 countries including the U.S., Japan, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Australia and China. The creative uses the tagline "Life Tastes Good" and illustrates special moments in people's lives. Over thirty 30-second television commercials have been created depicting a range of people, moods and situations including a grandfather and young adult grandson, a young bride on her wedding day and a rock star backstage before an encore. Television advertising is being accompanied with radio, outdoor and print support. Toronto-based Coca-Cola Ltd. will bring the campaign to the Canadian market in June following its Coke Card promotion.
