SEARS CANADA LOSES VP OF MARKETING, GAINS TWO PRESIDENTS

Richard Sorby, executive vice-president of marketing for Sears Canada, has left the company to pursue other interests. He joined the Toronto-based retailer in 1997. William Turner has been named president of merchandising, marketing and logistics. Brent Hollister has been made president of sales, service and store planning. Previously Turner was executive vice-president of merchandising and logistics while Hollister was executive vice-president of sales and service. Both have been with the company for over 30 years.
