GOLFERS SEEKS SPONSORS TO CURE CANCER

The fourth annual Bell Classic golf tournament, described by its namesake sponsor as one of Canada's most prestigious women's tournaments, is seeking corporate sponsors in an effort to raise funds for breast cancer research. Funds raised at this year's tournament will go to the St. Michael's Hospital Breast Centre in Toronto. "Sponsorship packages are available at many levels ensuring everyone has the chance to help with such an important cause," said Bell Sympatico vice-president Pat Tremaine. "Whether it is a prize donated towards the silent auction or financial support at a higher level, every little bit makes a difference." Existing corporate sponsors include Nortel, Wilson Sporting Goods, Dockers and AXA Insurance. The Bell Classic, which is organized and hosted by Zonta International, will take place on May 25 at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, ON.
