GROUNDZERO LAUNCHES SONY MONITORS

Toronto-based Sony Canada hired that city's Groundzero Marketing Communications to launch its new LCD Display Monitor. Sony has been working with a number of advertising agencies on a project basis since splitting with its former agency MacLaren McCann in January. Bill Roberts, one of the principals of Groundzero, had worked with Sony in the past and the agency was awarded the LCD monitor launch assignment based on that relationship. A magazine campaign targeting "tech savvy" business consumers began running in business, technology and consumer publications the end of March. Sony's new LCD Display Monitors are thin-screened monitors that provide clear images and take up a small amount desk space.
