THE BAY FEATURES RETRO LOOK

The Bay is targeting baby boomers with its new spring ad campaign. Two 30-second TV spots, created by The Wolf Group of Toronto, continue with the retailer's "Shopping is Good" positioning promoting men's and women's fashions and accessories. The women's commercial features a Charlie's Angel theme while the men's features a Mission Impossible theme, explained Neil Fedun, senior vice-president of marketing for the Bay. National magazine ads and in-store materials, which also reflect the 70s retro look, are supporting the TV ads. The five-week campaign is running nationally in both English and French.
