CYBERSURF ENGAGES NEW ADVERTISING CONTRACT

Calgary-based Cybersurf Corp. has signed a new advertising contract with Toronto-based Engage Canada. Engage will provide banner ads for placement on the 3Web Gateway, Cybersurf's free Internet service. Both 3Web's English and French versions will carry banner ads from Engage. "Cybersurf was motivated to pursue this significant commercial alliance by Engage Canada's leadership in the banner advertising industry," said Paul Mercia, Cybersurf's president and chief executive. 3Web currently provides its service to more than 500,000 users in 21 cities across Canada.
