MICROFORUM'S SALE OF PR AND ADVERTISING DIVISIONS COMPLETE

Toronto-based Microforum Inc. has completed the sale of its public relations and advertising businesses. The company had announced late last year it had entered into letters of intent to sell the two divisions to its current principals. Financial details were not disclosed. The two divisions include public relations and advertising agency Marshall Fenn Communications and advertising agency Two Door Communications, both of Toronto. Microforum acquired Marshall Fenn in April 1998 from its principals Paul Chater and Jim Kabrajee. The company acquired Two Door in December 1999. Its principals include Marc Giacomelli, Jim Whitney, Simon Billing and Mike Bulmer. Earlier this month Microforum announced it had entered into a letter of intent to sell its strategic marketing services division PPL Marketing. The sale of each of these divisions is part of the company's plans to focus on its e-business side which encompasses its software products and Internet solutions.
