GOWRYLUK APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF BROWN

As part of a restructuring of senior management, Ken Christoffel, chief executive of Regina-based Brown Communications, announced Dave Gowryluk has been named president of the company. The role was previously held by Christoffel. Gowryluk will be responsible for overseeing business operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He first joined the company in 1988 as a creative director. Most recently, he served as executive vice-president, Alberta. Also announced as part of the restructuring is the appointment of James Aho as executive vice-president, integration. In this newly created position, Aho will be responsible for leading a company wide effort to integrate the activities of all of Brown's business units. Most recently, Aho served as vice-president, creative director as well as head of Brown's interactive group. The restructuring comes as Brown celebrates its 35th anniversary. Major clients of the company include SaskTel, Calgary Herald, Alberta Health, Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and Cameco.
