LABATT PARTNERS WITH OC TRANSPO, MADD & BARS FOR FREE NEW YEAR'S EVE SERVICE

Labatt Breweries Ontario has partnered with OC Transpo, MADD and the downtown Byward Association for Responsible Service to offer free bus service after 9:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve to residents of Ottawa, Nepean, Vanier, Rockcliffe, Gloucester, Kanata and Cumberland, Ontario. Labatt joins the community campaign for the first time this year, providing financial support. OC Transpo and MADD ran a similar program last year. "Labatt is proud to be a partner in this very important community campaign, which dovetails with our program called 'Know when to draw the line,'" said Karen Keskinen, field marketing manager of Labatt Breweries. To promote the free New Year's Eve service, posters will be distributed to OC Transpo pass and ticket vendors and to bars that are served by Labatt. The poster's creative, designed in-house by OC Transpo, depicts keys in the shape of buses dangling on a keychain. The text reads "Let us be your designated driver."
