MOLSON CALLS TAXIGUY FOR HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN

Montreal-based Molson Canada is reminding Canadians to plan ahead and take a cab this holiday season. The brewer broke a new holiday advertising campaign in Western Canada this week to deliver a "Plan Ahead. Don't Drink and Drive" message. Print ads running in urban weeklies and community newspapers are designed to publicize Molson's commitment to the responsible consumption of its products, said Babita Khun Khun, spokesperson for Molson. The ads depict a taxi cab with the headline "Oh What Fun It Is To Ride." Underneath is the 1-888-TAXIGUY number. TAXIGUY is a national network of taxi cab companies. Molson became a sponsor of the TAXIGUY program last year. The ads are scheduled to run until the end of the month. The creative was done by Taxi Advertising of Toronto.
