MOLSON ADDS HOLIDAY E-CARD TO HADEXTODAY.COM

As part of its "Had Ex Today" advertising campaign for the Export brand, Montreal-based Molson Canada has introduced holiday greeting cards on the campaign's Web site at <http://www.hadextoday.com>. The four animated Ex-mas cards are designed to play up the ad campaign's message of a balanced lifestyle among male beer drinkers. Each card is intended to depict a humorous situation about hanging out with the guys. In one card, called "Busted", a guy and his buddies are drinking an Ex at the bar when his girlfriend calls and he lies about being at the office. Another card, called "Wish Come True," features a guy dancing around in his underwear with three scantily-clad women. Animation for the e-cards was created by noisemedia of Vancouver. Visitors to the HadExToday.com site are able to personalize each card. They can also view the campaign's ads, watch out-takes and offer comments. Advertising for Molson Export is done by hhcl of London. Molson's HadExToday.com Web site was designed by CyberSight of Toronto. Media relations from Thornley Fallis Communications, also of Toronto, are being used to promote the Ex-mas e-cards. A direct email campaign to registered visitors of the HadExToday.com Web site also promoted the cards.
