PIZZA PIZZA INKS ONE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH COURTESY TELECOM
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Courtesy Telecom, which introduced its courtesy telephone service in the Greater Toronto Area earlier this year, has made a one-year sponsorship agreement with Pizza Pizza. Toronto-based Pizza Pizza will be the sole sponsor of ten courtesy telephones located in the City of Toronto's Parks and Recreation facilities. The telephones, which offer free local calling, are "wrapped" with surrounding billboard graphics. Courtesy Telecom's executive director, Ernie Levy, said the company also plans to install its telephones in Toronto's Skydome and Mount Sinai hospital. The company is also in talks to install telephones in 20 secondary schools and is in the midst of negotiations for installations in Ontario universities with plans to expand its concept nationally. Public relations for Courtesy Telecom are handled by Michael Communications of Toronto.
