Chris Stavenjord, president of Envoy Communications Group's advertising arm Communiqué, has been let go, according to a report in the National Post. Stavenjord was reportedly fired October 10 after serving as president of the agency for the past 16 months and creative director for the past eighth years. Envoy president, Geoff Genovese, was quoted as saying "Chris wasn't meeting our expectations and, moving forward, we'll need stronger leadership in that group." Genovese also added, an upcoming announcement regarding an agency acquisition will make "everything clearer."
Palm Promotion has announced the appointment of Stephanie Charrette and the promotion of Frédérique Delagrave, both to the positions of project managers. Delagrave is promoted from coordinator within the promotion division and will be working on the Budweiser account. Louise Fortier will add to her responsibilities as supervisor covering all projects handled by Charrette and Delagrave.
