PRIME OUTDOOR EXTENDS BUS ADVERTISING

Toronto-based Prime Outdoor is expanding its program offering companies advertising space on bus backs. In March Prime began offering 4' x 7' full color ads on the upper rear exterior sections of 12 airport express buses. The 12 coaches are operated by Pacific Western of Mississauga, Ontario. Prime Outdoor is now running the advertising on an additional 40 coaches owned by Pacific Western. The additional buses are used for charters and sightseeing tours in Toronto and southern Ontario. According to Prime, the rear advertising allows companies to target drivers and travellers on the highways used by the buses and well as pedestrians in the various cities the buses visit. Pacific Western's bus routes include trips to Niagara Falls and skiing country.
