DAIMLERCHRYSLER REVIEWING AD AGENCIES

DaimlerChrysler Corporation, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is reviewing its advertising agency relationships. Currently the company's Chrysler, Jeep and corporate brand advertising are handled by FCB Worldwide, while its Dodge brand advertising is handled by BBDO Worldwide. According to Chrysler group marketing senior vice president Arthur Liebler, "We are undecided at this early stage what the final structure will be, but it could ultimately lead to one primary agency for all Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep brand and corporate advertising." No deadlines for the review have been set, but a decision is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
