BENSIMON BYRNE D'ARCY GETS A BOOST IN BUSINESS

Mead Johnson Nutritionals, based in Ottawa, Ontario, has made two major changes surrounding its assignments here in Canada that will see Bensimon Byrne D'Arcy of Toronto get a boost in business. The move is the result of a global consolidation of Mead's accounts. Mead is a division of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. Previously the creative account for Mead's brands, which include Boost nutritional supplements, Enfalac baby formula and Viactiv, a calcium supplement in chocolate, caramel or mochaccino flavors, was at Page 1 of Toronto. The relationship marketing assignment was with Rapp Collins Worldwide. Effective October 1, both accounts will consolidate at Bensimon Byrne. According to Lynn Plunkett, director of marketing at Mead, the company is currently in the planning stages for the 2001 year and marketing budgets were not available.
