INTERAC CUSTOMERS PAY, PICK, WIN AT CAMBRIDGE MALLS

Toronto-based Interac Association has teamed up with Cambridge Shopping Centres Limited to let customers "Pay, Pick & Win." Customers who use Interact Direct Payment for purchases of $10 or more can take their reciepts to the customer service kiosks at each shopping centre to choose an Interac Card Guard for their bank card. A select number of the Card Guards will be marked with a sticker that lets the customer know they have also won a $10 or $25 gift certificate for that shopping centre. "Pay, Pick & Win" is running at Cambridge shopping centres in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland between August 18 and August 27. Additional shopping centres in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia will also be running the program between August 25 and September 3. Interac Association is responsible for the development of the Interac Direct Payment network, Canada's national debit card service, as well as the Interac shared cash dispensing service automated banking machines. Local radio and print advertising promoting "Pay, Pick & Win" will be supported with in-store signage created by Gandalf Graphics of Toronto. Public relations for Interac Association are handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
