SHANDWICK LANDS BREAKAWAY EUROPEAN CLIENT

Boston-based Breakaway Solutions Inc. has tapped Shandwick International to act as its European public relations firm. Breakaway Solutions, which is a full service provider of application hosting systems and e-business strategy, earlier this year opened an office in London, England and recently acquired Dublin-based e-services firm Zartis. Shandwick's task will be to smooth their new client's way into the European market and to promote company president and CEO Gordon Brooks as a visionary of the FSP sector. "We were seeking a European public relations partner that was highly educated about the e-services and application hosting sectors, and as passionate about our FSP methodology as we are," said Adam Sholley, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Breakaway Solutions. "The team we met at Shandwick met these criteria." Shandwick International specializes in reputation management and has headquarters in New York, London and Singapore.
