ELLIS TEICHMAN ON A HEALTHY STREAK
By Adnews Staff
Ellis Teichman Communications of Toronto has been on a healthy streak following the addition of three new health-related accounts to its roster. The agency launched a new campaign this week called "Breathing Space-Community Partners for Smoke-Free Homes" on behalf of a consortium of six health departments representing the regions of Durham, York, Toronto, Peel, Halton and Hamilton Wentworth. The group of health departments joined together in an effort to promote smoke-free homes and selected Ellis following an agency review. The $800,000 campaign includes radio, newspaper and transit shelter advertising and is running in the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas until October. Ellis was also hired by the York Region Heart Health Program and West Park Hospital following agency reviews. This fall, the agency will launch a campaign to promote physical activity, smoke-free living and healthy eating on behalf of the York Region Heart Health Program and in September will launch West Park Hospital's first advertising campaign using newspaper and transit advertising. Ellis is also working on a new campaign scheduled to launch this fall for the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Transit shelter, newspaper and magazine advertising is expected to break in October.
