KOOL-AID DECLARES JULY KOOL TO CARE MONTH
By Adnews Staff
Kool-Aid has declared the month of July "Kool to Care Month" and is encouraging kids to take an active part in their communities. The declaration is part of Toronto-based Kraft Canada's summer 2000 marketing program for its Kool-Aid brand. Kids are being encouraged to raise funds for local children's charities with Kool-Aid/Kool-Tea stands. Kool-Aid will award one fundraiser from each province and territory $500 to be donated to their chosen charity. Kool to Care Month is being promoted with public relations activities from Strategic Objectives of Toronto. To be eligible for the $500 donation, kids between five and 15 years-old are to send in a picture of themselves at their stand with details of how much money they raised. The top fundraiser in each province and territory will receive the donation.
