CHATELAINE LAUNCHES GUIDE TO GOOD HEALTH

Chatelaine magazine's second annual health issue hit newsstands last week supported with a full scale advertising campaign from MacLaren McCann of Toronto. The Rogers Media publication first launched its annual issue dedicated to women's health last year. The July issue of the magazine, available on newsstands until mid-July, features a 53-page section called the Chatelaine Guide to Good Health, in addition to its regular magazine features and columns. Included in the health guide is a free pullout poster, reviews on health product and information and features on nutrition, fitness, beauty and food. Readers can also find additional health editorial not featured in the magazine at <http://www.chatelaine.com>. The second annual health issue is being supported with a 30-second national radio spot airing on 22 stations across the country, a 15-second national television spot airing on the Women's Television network, print ads running in Maclean's and Canadian Business magazines and out-of-home backlit interior cards on display in buses and subway cars in six markets across Canada. Additional promotion includes posters in airports and key downtown Toronto locations, a $1 off flyer ad in Pharmasave stores across Canada and in-store displays in Chapters and Smith/Coles book stores. Radio listeners in Toronto and Vancouver also received special health issue prize pack give aways featuring spa gift certificates. Chatelaine magazine has a circulation of 1.3 million.
