CHANNEL 500 CONQUERS FEAR

Direct response television production company Channel 500 Ltd. has been hired by British Telecom of London, England to take the fear out of technology for its customers. The company's assignment is to produce an infomercial for British Telecom's new email phone. British Telecom awarded Channel 500 the assignment based on a referral from BT Cellnet, also of London. Channel 500 worked with BT Cellnet last fall, creating an infomercial promoting that firm's pre-paid wireless phone service. The assignment from British Telecom includes additional unspecified future projects. The infomercial will be created by Channel 500's recently-opened London office. Toronto-based Channel 500 opened this office to support the British Telecom account and to build business in the European markets. PR for Channel 500 in Canada is handled by Fishbowl Communications of Toronto.
